Coming though the original gate of this home transforms you to a place where time went by at a slower pace.

Relax by the lava-stone fireplace (gas) while drinking a nice glass of wine or hot-coco and talk-story about the adventures of the day.

After a long day of exploring you will be happy to retire to your exquisite Master Bedroom Suite with its own private electric fireplace.  What a  charming romantic atmosphere.

The house is very private and surrounded by a lush forest, filled with Ohia Trees, wild Ginger, giant Hapuu Ferns, and many other plants.


The living room has a great lava rock fireplace.  Cuddle up and watch a movie on the flat screen TV, or just read a good book  A great comfortable place to stay.


There is even a real Ohia Tree in the middle of the house.  A great tactile piece of nature adds to the charming ambience of this vacation rental.

The kitchen like the rest of the house has been completely remodeled.  All new kitchen cabinets and appliance.  Microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, and all pots and pants and utensils you may need are provided.


The kitchen opens up to the cozy living room.  Multiple Ohia tree trunks ( see in picture) are used throughout the house which is part of the unique ambience of this magical place.  The dining room ( seats 6) is to the left of the living room.

There is a small reading nook off the kitchen that is perfect for escaping and reading that new book, write a postcard back home, or utilize it as a computer station to set up your laptop.
There are several stained glass windows in this house which are original to this unique place.


From your back porch you overlook the lush green forest.  The outdoor furniture where handcrafted by the current owner from Redwood left over from the original water tank on the property, which adds to  the old world charm of this cottage.

Master Bedroom has a Tempurpedic Queen size Bed with luxury linens that make you feel very comfortable.
 
The romantic ambience of this master bedroom makes this a special place to stay for your honeymoon or anniversary.. or just "that special getaway"..

The second bedroom ( downstairs) with a queen size tempurpedic bed  feels like a dreamy hideaway.
The third bedroom has a single Twin Size Bed and again, has the feel of a tucked away romantic place to call your own during your stay.


The bathroom features a wonderful Jacuzzi Tub with a private view out to the forest.


Brand new glass shower.  The bathroom is tiled with travertine throughout.
The Ahui O Manu vacation cottage is located right in the Village on a small country road.  1.2 acres of land, very private.

For stays of 2 nights or more we will be happy to provide some complimentary breakfast fixings ( our gift to you) .  Breakfast fixings may include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pancake mix, syrup, bread / bagels, eggs, butter / jam, juice, etc.  ( exact items may vary depending on local availability). 
There are always fresh tropical flowers in the house for your enjoyment.

Cancellation
Policy:

14 days 
* No Charge / full refund of deposit if cancelled at least two weeks prior to arrival.  If cancelled less than two weeks in advance full payment is due for any days we can not re-book to someone else..       
Reservations for 4 days or more have a 30 day  cancellation period.
